Such fond memories of beef in a lightly seasoned smooth cream sauce served over toasted sourdough or European whole grain. Ingredients 8 ounces, weight Buddig Original Beef¼ cups Butter¼ cups All-purpose Flour½ teaspoons Fresh Ground Black Pepper2 pinches Cayenne2 cups MilkSalt And Pepper, to taste Preparation Slice beef in bite size pieces. Melt butter in a skillet over medium low heat. Whisk in flour. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, whisking constantly. Sprinkle in black pepper and cayenne pepper. Slowly whisk in milk until smooth and creamy.
